Michael Schai

Michael Schai is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli Australia since January 2019, Michael previously held significant positions at ARYZTA, including Global Strategic Business Lead for McDonald's and Managing Director of the Global Bun Bakeries Business Unit, overseeing 23 manufacturing plants in 13 countries. Prior to that, Michael served as CEO at HIESTAND SCHWEIZ AG and held various board and management roles in associated companies. Earlier career highlights include positions at HIESTAND INTERNATIONAL AG and Mars, where responsibilities spanned marketing and brand management. Michael holds a degree in Marketing, Controlling, and SME from the University of St.Gallen.
