Watchanan Chantapakul

Watchanan Chantapakul is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in developing advanced data systems and research methodologies. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at LINE MAN Wongnai since October 2022, Watchanan has implemented a sequential recommender system and initiated a code review process for the data science team, alongside customizing Airflow for enhanced data workflow. Previously, as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Missouri, Watchanan contributed to the development of an in-home activity assessment tool for stroke patients under the supervision of Dr. Marjorie Skubic. Prior research roles at Chiang Mai University included work on computer vision and deep learning techniques, culminating in published academic papers. Watchanan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Chiang Mai University.
