Akshay Sanan, PMP®

Akshay Sanan, PMP®, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of project management and software testing. Akshay worked as a Senior Consultant at Linea Solutions, Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Vitech Systems Group from 2020 to 2023, including Associate Director and Senior Quality Manager. In these positions, they led teams in testing activities such as verification, validation, system test, and user acceptance testing. Akshay was responsible for all quality assurance activities, including test planning, resourcing, case development, execution, risk management, and result analysis.

Before their time at Vitech Systems Group, Akshay held roles at CGI starting in 2010. Akshay served as a Senior Consultant and Senior Software Engineer, managing ERP upgrade projects and performing business requirements analysis. Akshay also played a lead role in driving custom work, collecting requirements from clients, and guiding team members.

Akshay also worked at Xavient Information Systems Noida in 2010 as an Associate Requirements Analyst, where they gathered functional requirements and built designs for the development and testing teams. Prior to that, they were an Analyst at SQS India, where they gathered game requirements and built game design documents for testing teams.

Akshay Sanan, PMP®, has a diverse education history. Akshay completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth from 2007 to 2010, specializing in Computers. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics from Delhi University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In their pre-university education, Akshay attended Amity International School, Noida, from 2003 to 2004, and completed their XII with a focus on Science.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Akshay has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Akshay became a Certified SAFe Scrum Master in May 2019 through Scaled Agile, Inc. In November 2009, they attained the Certified ISTQB Foundation Level from the Indian Testing Board. Furthermore, they achieved the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2019.
