Simon Julien

Simon Julien is an accomplished Data Scientist at Lineage Logistics, specializing in innovative projects that integrate machine learning and energy market solutions for micro-grid applications in industrial cold-storage warehouses. As Co-Founder and Technical Lead at Latimer Controls, Simon developed proprietary control software that enhances utility-scale solar operations. Participation in the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator provided insights into energy entrepreneurship. Research experience includes nearly four years at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, culminating in a publication on solar PV control and involvement in patent applications for inverter-based systems. Simon holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
