Clay Waters, P.E.

Clay Waters, P.E. has a diverse work experience in product management, energy analytics, and energy engineering. Clay is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Management at LineVision. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Product Management at LineVision as well. Before joining LineVision, Clay worked at Power TakeOff as the Sr. Manager Product Management, User Experience, and Analytics, where they led a team in developing software and services to help utilities connect with their customers and improve energy efficiency. At EnerNOC, Clay held various roles including Sr. Product Manager, Energy Cloud, where they led a team in the development of software optimizing revenue from energy storage systems. Clay also founded and led EnerNOC's Labs team in developing energy analytics solutions using machine learning. Additionally, Clay served as the Practice Lead for Energy Advisory Services, managing the development of strategic advisory services and software offerings for commercial and industrial organizations. Clay started their career at EnerNOC as an Energy Engineer, where they conducted energy audits and managed energy retrofit projects for various building types. Overall, Clay Waters has extensive experience in product management, energy analytics, and energy engineering.

Clay Waters, P.E. obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering from The University of Georgia, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Clay has also acquired additional certifications including but not limited to "Introduction to Finance, Accounting, Modeling, and Valuation" from Udemy in May 2023, "Client Needs and Software Requirements" from Coursera in February 2017, and "Professional Engineer" from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in June 2016.
