Aleka Harris-Thomas

Aleka Harris-Thomas has a diverse work experience with a focus on administrative and sales support roles. From 2018-present, they worked at Lingo Communications as a Sales Implementation Specialist, where they handled administrative duties for the sales department and provided assistance to management. Prior to that, they worked at Birch Communications from 2002-2018 in various roles, including Sales Operation's Process Coordinator, Sales Support, and Trainer. In this role, they developed and reviewed documentation, created training programs, and assisted in implementing new processes. From 2000-2002, Aleka worked as a Truck Dispatcher at MBM Corporation, where they ensured drivers followed procedures and created efficient schedules. Their earliest work experience was as an Administrative Assistant at Mercer University from 1999-2000, where they provided support and managed calendars.

Aleka Harris-Thomas has a strong education history, with a focus on business administration, operational management, early childhood education, and accounting. Aleka attended DeVry University from 2009 to 2013, where they studied Business Administration with a specialization in Operational Management. Before that, from 1997 to 2001, Aleka attended Middle Georgia State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior to their time at Middle Georgia State University, they attended Paine College from 1994 to 1997, with a focus on accounting. Additionally, Aleka obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Riverwood Associates in October 2016.
