Lingokids is a well-funded, fast-growing edtech startup changing the face of early childhood language education. We’ve taught over two million kids in 170 countries since our launch last year.


Lingokids empowers millions of families around the world through playlearning™. We improve early childhood education and help parents around the world raise amazing children.

We are looking for a 10+ years experienced business executive to manage, nurture, lead and grow our partnerships team to close meaningful & creative collaborations. Outside our usual marketing channels, we want to meet millennial parents of 2-8 year old kids where they are, alongside the most loved and known brands and products.

Our collaborations are a key and differential to Lingokids’ organic growth and a unique way to position us as a brand that solves parent’s needs. They also create PR and word-of-mouth opportunities that increase Lingokids brand awareness and can drive new users to install our app.

As Partnerships Director you will lead our Partnerships team to help boost Lingokids’ brand awareness, organic acquisition and reduce dependency on paid performance marketing.

Our goals for both Lingokids and our partners are:

  • Increase brand recognition, awareness & reach with partner exposure and PR
  • Create a competitive advantage
  • Create engagement with the brand
  • Acquire new customers
  • Retain existing customers, increase their brand loyalty


Set the partnerships strategy

  • Set partnerships vision, strategy, own and build the partnerships roadmap, and ensure its execution
  • Reporting to and working closely together with the director of Brand & Communications, you ensure a robust partnership strategy and you dial it down with your team to a hands-on roadmap.
  • Track, gather and review partnership OKRs and KPIs and communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders

Be an excellent deal-maker

  • Identify and build relationships with potential new partners.
  • Participate in outbound / inbound activities to new and existing customers, especially in an top executive roles
  • Support the team in negotiations and ensure execution of commercial terms and contracts to secure partnerships and new business development opportunities while working hand to hand with key internal teams such as Legal & Finance.
  • Oversee contacts pipeline and in charge of making the necessary adjustments to increase conversion of qualified leads into partners.

Lead the team that executes the partnership strategy

  • Create, lead and empower a professional partnerships team of full time and possibly international contractor team
  • Developing a goal-oriented environment that while being very creative in their approaches, knows how to identify top and scalable opportunities and close them.
  • Create a goals oriented culture by setting up metrics and measuring closely ROI of the roadmap impact and adjusting accordingly.
  • Improve the sales funnel to ensure that the results of the team are scalable.

Set cross-company processes and communication.

  • Create newsworthy partnerships that can generate PR clipping in our key markets.
  • Execute partnerships that generate word of mouth and PR buzz to drive awareness and downloads.
  • Work with the content director to create exclusive content for top partners.
  • Improve cross company communication so every department knows what is happening with our upcoming partnerships, the support your team needs and how they can possibly impact other channels.
  • Work with the whole marketing team to align 360 communication campaigns around the partnerships.

Competencies required:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong business acumen and conformable working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • Proven track record coordinating innovative partnership initiatives and successful implementation of partnerships that have been seen & engaged with by millions of people.
  • Strategic thinker also feeling comfortable in a commercial position.
  • 10+ years of working experience in fast paced consumer facing environments.
  • An experienced and talented leader who has a proven track record in hiring, building and managing international & ideally remote teams.
  • P&L responsibility.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience driving multiple workflows.
  • Deep understanding of sales & business development processes.
  • Great network of potential consumer-facing partners within our key markets US and MX..
