Test Engineer III at Link Engineering Company

Brendan Hufnagel's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Brendan started as a Fuel Leader at Christ the King Catholic Church in 2010, where they organized weekly prayer meetings and planned retreats for middle school students. At Office Max, they worked in customer service from April 2015 to September 2015. Brendan then worked as kitchen staff at Culvers Restaurant from April 2016 to August 2016.

In 2016, Brendan took on a Senior Design Project at Michigan Technological University, assigned by DTE Energy. Brendan designed a device to clear blockages and prevent leakages in hoppers holding fly ash. The project was successful, and DTE Energy plans to manufacture more devices for their plant.

Since July 2017, Brendan has been working at Link Engineering Company. Brendan started as a Test Engineer, responsible for brake testing of automotive systems. Brendan managed brake tests, analyzed data, and presented findings to customers. Brendan also developed and implemented an airplane brake test, increasing business in that area. Later, they transferred to Ford Labs, where they managed scheduling, test operators, data quality, and customer relations for five dynos, with a focus on NVH testing.

Brendan's current position at Link Engineering Company is Test Engineer II, which they started in April 2021.

Brendan Hufnagel obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they attended from 2012 to 2017.
