Ron Zalika

Ron Zalika has a diverse work experience in the education field. Ron started working as a Teacher of Social Studies for the North Plainfield Board of Education and Colts Neck Township School District in 1999. After that, they joined Trenton Public Schools as the District Supervisor of Social Studies in 2012. In 2014, they became the Director of Curriculum & Instruction for Montgomery Township School District, and then they moved to Willingboro Public Schools in 2017 as their Director of Curriculum & Instruction. In 2020, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University and also as an Educational Consultant at LinkIt!.

Ron Zalika obtained a Bachelor's degree in History & Political Science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 1998. Ron then pursued a Master's degree in History from Columbia University, which they completed between 2006 and 2010. In 2011, they enrolled at Thomas Edison State University, where they earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, which they completed in 2014. Currently, Ron Zalika is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree at Grand Canyon University, expected to be completed between 2020 and 2025. In addition to their academic achievements, Ron Zalika holds certifications from the NJ Department of Education, including Chief School Administrator, Supervisor of Instruction, and Teacher of Social Studies.
