Yewande Akeju

Yewande Akeju currently serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager at Linklaters since January 2023. Previously, Yewande held the position of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager for EMEA at Essence from December 2021 to November 2022, and worked as a Project Manager in the Transformation Programme Management Office at NHS's Gender Identity Development Service from June 2021 to December 2021. Yewande also gained experience as a Masters Student at the University of Chester from August 2020 to May 2021, and served as a Risk Management Analyst in HSBC's Chief Risk Office from September 2019 to August 2020. Earlier roles include Chief of Staff at both Alantra and KPMG UK, as well as International Asset Services Assistant at Finders International Probate Genealogists and Legal Assistant at A & A Solicitors LLP. Yewande holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Chester and a Bachelor’s degree in European Politics from the University of Nottingham.
