Paolo Savio

Paolo Savio is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in microelectronics and embedded systems design. Currently associated with LINKS Foundation since January 2019, and involved in multiple projects including the ACROSS and LEXIS Projects, as well as Photonlab at ISMB since 2004. Throughout the career, significant contributions include developing and testing Intellectual Property cores, low power design flows, and embedded systems for various microcontrollers. Previous positions include researcher roles at Sequoia Srl focusing on MEMs vibration sensors and as a consultant at Accent Srl and Software Engineering, specializing in system on chip integration, verification processes, and avionic firmware development. Savio holds a Laurea in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and an MSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago.
