David Risius

David Risius has extensive work experience in various roles related to research and analysis, assessments, and operations. David is currently working as a Principal Operations Research Analyst at LinQuest since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Studies Division Chief at The Research and Analysis Center within the Army Futures Command from July 2020 to October 2021. From August 2017 to July 2020, they were the Chief of Assessments at United States Army North within NORAD & US Northern Command. David also worked as the Lead Analyst for Operations Analysis and Assessments at UNITED STATES AFRICA COMMAND from July 2014 to July 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as an Operations Research Analyst at the TRADOC Analysis Center within the US Army TRADOC from September 2009 to June 2012. Before that, they served as an Aviation Officer in the US Army from May 2001 to August 2009.

David Risius has a Master's Degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. David also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato, which they earned between 1996 and 2001. Prior to their university studies, David attended United South Central High School and obtained their high school diploma in 1996. In addition, they have acquired several certifications including Modern Big Data Analysis with SQL Specialization, IBM Data Science Specialization, Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions, Data Science Specialization, and a Commercial Helicopter License.
