Ted Lewis

Ted Lewis has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Ted is currently working as a Principal Operations Research Analyst at LinQuest starting from September 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Professor in the Systems Engineering Department at the University of Dayton since August 2021. From August 2021 to October 2022, they worked as a Principal Systems Engineer at MITRE.

Before their current positions, Ted had a long career with the United States Air Force. Ted held various roles including Chief of the Studies and Analysis Division, Chief of the Operations Research Analysis Division, Senior Analysis of Alternatives Liaison, Chief Analyst for Sustainment, Chief Analyst for Research and Development, and Senior Analysis of Alternatives Liaison.

In their roles with the Air Force, Ted provided decision quality analysis on different aspects of the organization's mission. Ted was involved in developing and assessing study plans and results for senior DoD leadership. Ted also led teams of analysts and served as a technical advisor in various projects. Ted'sexpertise lies in areas such as cost capability analysis, strategic resource management, studies and analysis division leadership, and research and development analysis.

Ted Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies from the United States Air Force Academy from 1979 to 1983. Ted then pursued a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology-Graduate School of Engineering & Management between 1986 and 1987. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, completing their studies from 1992 to 1995.
