Doran Smestad

Doran Smestad has a diverse work experience in the field of security and systems engineering. Doran is currently working as the Sr Director of Security and Systems Engineering at Linus Health since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Fincura as the Director of Systems and Security from October 2018 to December 2021. At Fincura, they were responsible for overseeing internal systems and production infrastructure, obtaining and maintaining the SOC2 Type II certification, and unifying the functions of Information Technology, Security Operations, and Site Reliability. Doran also worked as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Fincura from October 2018 to November 2020. Doran Smestad completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2010 to 2014. Doran then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science at the same institution from 2014 to 2015.
