Jake Bellavance

Jake Bellavance is the ShortCircuit/WAN Show Producer at Linus Media Group. Prior to their current position, Jake worked as a Banking Specialist/Accounting Associate at Bench Accounting from April 2020 to February 2021. In this role, Jake was responsible for maintaining the communications and bookkeeping of a large portfolio of businesses, participating in banking app development meetings, creating operations training, and mentoring front-line staff who join the banking team.

Before working at Bench Accounting, Jake was the Technology Sales Supervisor at Staples from September 2018 to March 2019. In this role, Jake was responsible for leading the technology sales team by providing coaching and training to ensure that the department reached the sales goals set. Jake was also responsible for maintaining and ordering inventory for the sales department, building and maintaining planograms, maintaining and repairing computers in the repair department, and was a chair on the store's health and safety committee.

Jake Bellavance began their educational career at Vancouver Technical Secondary School. Jake then went on to Gulf Islands Secondary School. After that, they attended Capilano University and obtained a certification in Mental Health First Aid from the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Jake also has certifications in Occupational First Aid and Emergency First Aid from the Canadian Red Cross.
