Amanpreet Singh Msc Ceng

Amanpreet Singh has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Amanpreet is currently working for Linxon as the Global Head of Risk Management, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Sales & Proposals Manager- Offshore Wind and the Proposal Manager- Offshore Wind (Global) for Linxon from 2022 to 2023 and from 2021 to 2022 respectively. Amanpreet also has experience as a Tendering Manager (Utilities & Offshore Wind) at Linxon from 2020 to 2021.

Before joining Linxon, Amanpreet worked for GE Renewable Energy for several years. Amanpreet held the position of Lead Commercial Proposals Manager from 2018 to 2020, where they were responsible for organizing and leading tender preparations. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Tendering Engineer, Customer Application Engineering from 2017 to 2018, and as a Secondary Systems Engineer from 2012 to 2017.

Amanpreet also has earlier work experience as an International Student Ambassador at the University of Strathclyde from 2011 to 2012. Before that, they worked as an Electrical Engineer (Maintenance & Projects) at HERO ECOTECH LTD from 2009 to 2010 and as a Trainee Engineer at Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd for six months in 2008.

Amanpreet Singh holds a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering with Business from the University of Strathclyde, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Amanpreet Singh has acquired various certifications and training courses, including being a Chartered Engineer by the Engineering Council UK in 2017 and completing the Advanced P&C Training Course in 2015. Amanpreet also possesses certifications in business analysis, business development, management, and communication skills. Furthermore, they have been recognized for their excellence in STEM teaching and has engaged in STEM ambassadorship activities.
