Camille de Jesus

Camille De Jesus is an experienced conservation professional with a Bachelor's degree in Forest Resources and Conservation, specializing in Urban Forestry from the University of Florida. Current roles include Keeper II at Lion Country Safari and Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Alumni Leadership Fellow for the Environmental Leadership Program, where Camille engages peers in ecological discussions. Previous experience includes positions as a Refuge Assistant with American Conservation Experience, Associate Researcher at CaptureISG, Contract Arborist with ACRT, and various roles involving fieldwork and research support at the University of Florida and Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge. Additionally, Camille has served as Outreach Coordinator for the Ecological Society of America, utilizing social media to educate and engage communities on environmental topics.
