Stephane Martin

Stephane Martin is an experienced manager and engineer in the fields of software development and validation. Currently serving as the Manager of the Validation and Verification group for Advanced Engineering at Lion Electric since September 2021, Stephane leads a multidisciplinary team in evaluating workload and planning tasks. Prior to this role, a significant tenure at Kontron spanned over two decades, transitioning through various positions including Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Lead Software Architect, Software Manager, and Software Team Leader, focusing on embedded software design for telecom and datacom. Early career experiences include software engineering roles at Matrox and Hydro Québec. Stephane holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence applied to power systems from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, along with technician training in electronics.
