Giorgi Bogveradze

Giorgi Bogveradze, PhD, is a seasoned data analytics professional with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of the Data Analytics Group at Bank of Georgia since December 2014. With a solid foundation in mathematics, holding a PhD from Universidade de Aveiro, an MSc, and a BSc from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Giorgi has adeptly progressed through various roles, including Principal and Senior Data Scientist. Prior experience includes serving as an Analysis and Reporting Senior Specialist at Geocell, where Giorgi developed expertise in data mining, forecasting, and reporting, contributing to customer insights and marketing strategy optimization through advanced modeling techniques and comprehensive data analysis.
