Janelle Montgomery has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2007, they started their career as a Research Intern at Beacon Economics. Janelle then worked as a Front Desk Attendant at Novato Oaks Inn and as a Personal Concierge at Heathman Hotel Kirkland.
In 2007, Janelle also joined Cardiac Science, where they held multiple roles. Janelle served as an HR Administrator, Executive Assistant to the Executive Office, and Systems Administrator/Facilities Coordinator. In their role as Systems Administrator/Facilities Coordinator, they specifically managed the learning management system and oversaw the day-to-day facilities responsibilities.
From 2012 to 2013, Janelle worked as a Marketing Business Coordinator at Microsoft Corporation via Xtreme Consulting Group, Inc. Janelle collaborated with the Senior Director and a 20-person US SMB Marketing team on various marketing projects and provided event management and support for a 100-person US SMB&D organization.
Subsequently, they joined Microsoft Corporation (JeffreyM Consulting) in 2013 as a Project Event Manager/Marketing Consultant.
Starting in 2015, Janelle took on the role of a Mom at Carter & Keegan's world, prioritizing their family responsibilities.
Janelle then joined Simple Concepts Consulting in 2015 as a Sr. Event Specialist and Project Manager, and remained in this position until 2019.
Currently, since January 2019, Janelle is working at Lions & Tigers as a Practice Lead, Budget. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Project Manager, Financial/Budget Analyst, and Consultant at the same company.
Janelle also has experience in youth basketball coaching, having served as a Youth Basketball Coach for multiple youth programs from 2003 to 2017.
Janelle Montgomery began their education in 2003 at New York University, where they studied Sports Management. Janelle then transferred to Bellevue College in 2004 to pursue a degree in Business. After completing their studies at Bellevue College in 2005, Janelle went on to attend Dominican University of California where they earned their degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Management, in 2007.
