Martin Hendry

Martin Hendry has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Martin began their career at JPMorgan Chase as a Corporate Actions Analyst, where they gained knowledge of events in the global custody environment. Martin then moved on to Gruss Asset Management, where they worked as a Trade Support/Junior Trader for a hedge fund, summarizing daily event news flow and analyzing its impact on the portfolio. Martin then joined Legal & General Investment Management, starting as a Trader for Global Equities and Derivatives before transitioning to Multi Asset Transition Manager. In this role, they managed global multi-asset transitions and performed daily portfolio management tasks. Currently, Martin is working at Liontrust Asset Management PLC as a Multi Asset Trader, trading a variety of instruments for multiple investment centers, including long-only and long/short hedge funds. In addition, they are also serving as the Deputy Head of Trading at the company.

Martin Hendry attended Solent University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a 2:1 degree in International Business Management. In September 2020, they obtained a Data Analysis for Management certificate from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Additionally, in March 2023, they obtained the Headway - Phase 1 Headway certification from Liquidnet.
