Claudine Gakundi

Claudine Gakundi has worked in two companies. From 2015 to present, they have been the Country Manager, Kenya at Lipa Later Ltd., where they have been the overall team leader of over 100 employees in the Customer Success, Partner Success, Business Development and Marketing Team. Claudine has developed and executed country strategy with the aim of generating sales and revenue, customer satisfaction, retention and increasing BNPL awareness and utilization across Kenya that led to an increase of 30% in sales month on month since last year. Claudine has also spearheaded and overseen implementation of the marketing strategy and direction for Kenya. Additionally, they have approached, formed and fostered over 100 business partnerships with retailing stores and brands such as Samsung, Tecno, Oppo, Jumia, Sony, Huawei and Victoria Courts, and expanded Lipa Later into other cities and countries such as Mombasa, Eldoret, Kisumu and Rwanda. From 2015 to 2016, Claudine Gakundi was a Finance Intern at Chase Bank Kenya Ltd.

Claudine Gakundi holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance, which they obtained from Strathmore University between 2011 and 2015.
