Fabio Santos

Fabio Santos has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Fabio is currently working as a Platform Engineer at TOPS Software since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Liqi Digital Assets starting in April 2023.

From 2021 to 2023, Fabio served as the Head Crypto Infrastructure at Ripio, where they provided executive leadership for the Infrastructure functions. Their responsibilities included driving services and infrastructure architecture across various Cloud Service Providers.

Before joining Ripio, Fabio was the Founder/CSO/Infrastructure of BitcoinTrade from 2017 to 2020. Fabio built out governance and structure to support a strong information security environment and implemented technical improvements resulting in significant growth and efficiency.

Fabio's experience at Verifone from 2011 to 2020 included roles such as Global Sr. Solution Architecture, Sr. Solution Architect/Product Lead for Latin America & The Caribbean, Solution Architecture Manager for the LAC region, and Product and Solution Manager. Fabio provided best-practice guidance, managed cross-functional teams, and developed mobile solutions, media, and advertising solutions, resulting in cost reductions.

Prior to Verifone, Fabio worked at Cielo S.A. from 2000 to 2011. Fabio served as the Strategy and IT Architecture Manager, responsible for managing a senior team and evaluating corporate processes and methodologies. Fabio also served as a Specialist in New Transactional Technologies, participating in the development of various platforms.

Fabio's earlier work experience includes a role as Security Manager at PCPower in 2001, IT Consultant at Opentech from 1999 to 2001, Network and Security Administrator at Grupo Caltabiano from 1995 to 1998, and Application Developer at PCPower from 1995 to 1998. Fabio has been involved in various IT management, development, and security-related activities throughout their career.

Fabio Santos has a diverse education history. Fabio attended several English schools, including the Business English School - Kaplan IVC USA in 2011, the ELS - Business English School - New Haven USA in 2010, and the Wall Street Institute from 2005 to 2008.
