Chris Z.

Chris Z. has over 12 years of professional work experience. Chris began their career as a Network Administrator at IEC Electronics Corp. in 2009, where they managed a rapidly changing network infrastructure and utilized multiple brands of networking equipment. In 2011, they moved to ManTech International Corporation as a Sr. Systems Administrator (Linux), where they managed and maintained a suite of virtual RHEL5 servers and focused on delivering exceptional information security. In 2013, Chris Z. founded Greenbar Trading, where they were a full-time trader, educator, and developer. Chris created all content for websites, courses, mentoring packages, and social media presence. From 2017-2018, they served as a Freelance Django Developer for Lofty Labs, where they worked on various client projects. In 2018, Chris Z. began working at Code Institute as a Senior Product Developer & Mentor, where they designed and built course content and mentored students. In 2021, they moved to ZibaSec, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and worked with a small team of 10 people to build a scalable automated email phishing platform. Chris currently serves as the Principal Software Engineer at Liquid Mortgage.

Chris Z. attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, General. Prior to that, they attended the SUNY Schenectady County Community College from 2003 to 2005, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.
