Matt Dougherty

Matt Dougherty is a strategic account manager with extensive experience in investment recovery and industrial surplus management. Currently employed at Liquidity Services since January 2023, Matt previously held a strategic accounts role at HGR Industrial Surplus from September 2021 to September 2023, focusing on supporting global manufacturing companies with decommissioning, transportation, storage, and remarketing processes. Prior to this, Matt served as a strategic account manager at Ritchie Brothers Holdings Limited from June 2017 to September 2023, and held multiple positions, including major account sales and major account manager, at IronPlanet from September 2009 to June 2017. Matt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Auburn University, where studies took place from 1978 to 1982.
