Vaibhav Dixit

Vaibhav Dixit started their work experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at City University of Hong Kong in November 2017. In this role, they collected and scraped data, as well as conducted data mining for a project focused on forecasting future corporate earnings through analyzing video webcasts of investor conferences and AGMs. Vaibhav also wrote SQL queries and managed databases for location-based data.

In April 2018, they participated in the Banking Connections Insight Program at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Following this, they worked as a Trading Intern at Prabhudas Lilladher Private Limited from June to July 2018.

Vaibhav then served as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the TMT Sector at SA GLOBAL ADVISORS from July to September 2018. Vaibhav subsequently joined Jardine Matheson as a Software Development Intern from August 2018 to April 2019.

In September 2019, Vaibhav founded Plutonity Investment Advisory and Technologies, where they developed a failed startup called Paipai, an AI-powered micro-investment platform that aimed to enable first-time investors, particularly students and millennials in India, to invest their virtual spare change in financial products and enhance their financial acumen. Vaibhav pitched for seed funding of US$100k to angel investors.

Moving on, Vaibhav worked as a Full Stack Developer at KM.ON by KARL MAYER from July 2020 to November 2022. Finally, they joined Liquidnet in November 2022 as a Trading Analyst.

Vaibhav Dixit completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Finance from City University of Hong Kong from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Indian School Certificate (ISC) with a focus on Science from Swaraj India Public School from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Vaibhav Dixit has obtained several certifications. These include the Machine Learning for Trading Specialization from Coursera in September 2022, the Business and Financial Modeling Specialization from Coursera in July 2020, the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in June 2020, the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP in September 2018, the NISM-Series-XV: Research Analyst Certification Examination from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in July 2018, and the NISM-Series-VIII: Equity Derivatives Certification Examination from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in August 2017.
