Vivek Saraswat

Vivek Saraswat has a strong background in QA automation and algorithmic trading. Vivek is currently working as a Lead Automation Engineer at Liquidnet, starting in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Citi as a Vice President, serving as the Toronto FX QA Lead and driving performance testing initiatives for the FX Trading application. Vivek was with Citi from July 2019 to June 2021.

Before Citi, Vivek worked as a Senior Consultant - QA Automation/Algorithmic Trading at RBC Capital Markets from September 2018 to July 2019. Vivek gained experience as a QA Engineer at Millennium Management from June 2016 to September 2018. Prior to that, they were an AVP - Algo QA at J.P. Morgan from May 2013 to May 2016.

Vivek started their career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a QA Lead - Capital Markets, where they led QA efforts for front office and middle office trading applications. Vivek also has experience with algo trading engines, risk management systems, Fidessa, and DMA applications. Vivek was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch from December 2009 to May 2013.

Additionally, Vivek worked as a Consultant at Citi from June 2007 to December 2009, and as a Software Engineer at L&T Infotech from July 2006 to December 2009.

Vivek Saraswat completed their Executive Program in Management from IIT Bombay - Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University from 2002 to 2006. Vivek completed their HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) from PuranChandra VidyaNiketan, Kanpur between 1991 and 2002. In addition to their educational qualifications, Vivek obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in January 2018.
