Mathieu Lafourcade

Mathieu Lafourcade has extensive experience in software engineering for computational linguistics, currently serving as a Doctor at LIRMM since 1997. Previously, Mathieu Lafourcade worked as a researcher in semantic analysis of texts at NLP from 1900 to 2015 and contributed as a partner in computer science at sms4science in 2010. Additional notable roles include researcher at the Papillon Project, focusing on conceptual vectors and a French-English-Malay dictionary, and ATER (lecturer) positions at GETA-CLIPS-IMAG and University Grenoble 2. Mathieu Lafourcade held the position of Associate Professor and researcher at UTMK-USM-Malaysia from January 1995 to September 1996 and pursued studies in natural language processing as a DEA (Master) PhD student at UJF - GETA from September 1989 to December 1994. Academic achievements include two Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA and Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I).
