Eliana Godoy, MPA, is a seasoned nonprofit leader with extensive experience in strategic initiatives, organizational development, and community partnerships. Currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director at Literacy Inc., since April 2018, Eliana has spearheaded collective impact projects that enhance literacy access for children. Previously, as Chief Innovation Officer at Latino Social Innovation, Eliana leveraged cultural capital for social impact through digital campaigns. Eliana's diverse background includes roles as a consultant for various organizations, founding Art for Change, and managing key fundraising programs at the International Rescue Committee. Eliana holds a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Boston University.

“When a child reads, a community succeeds!” Right now, 3 out of 4 students living in poverty leave 3rd grade reading below grade level. This can translate into a lifetime of struggle. To change this, Literacy Inc. (LINC) employs an innovative strategy that unlocks the power which already exists within every community. LINC builds partnerships between families, educators and community stakeholders, creating neighborhood networks that surround children with books and fun, skill-building reading opportunities. LINC grows the early habits of reading that are vital to ensuring a child’s future success, in school and beyond.
