Nilesh Ashok Kharat

Nilesh Ashok Kharat is a seasoned mechanical engineer currently serving as Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Lithos Energy since September 2023. Prior to this role, Nilesh worked at Rivian as Battery Design Engineer II from December 2022 to September 2023 and gained experience at Goken America as Battery Design Engineer focused on Rivian from September 2021 to December 2022. Nilesh also contributed to automotive research at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, working on stochastic toolpath milling process design and development and serving as a teaching assistant. Earlier internships include a SITRAIN Trainee position at Siemens in June 2018 and a Mechanical Engineering Intern role at Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport in mid-2017. Nilesh holds a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
