Ben Sykes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ben started their career in 1997 as the Customer Care Director at Internet America. Ben then moved on to IP Communications, where they worked as a Technician for Test and Turn Up, configuring and testing customer networks. In 2003, they joined The Planet as a Professional Services Technician, providing support for UNIX/Linux, Solaris, and Windows systems. At Match.com, Ben held multiple roles, including Senior UNIX Systems Engineer and Lead UNIX Engineer, where they managed a large number of systems and implemented various infrastructure solutions. Ben then joined Message Systems as a Senior Operations Engineer for SparkPost. Currently, they are working at Litmus as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for the infrastructure and deployment of DevOps principles and tooling within AWS and other cloud providers.
From 1993 to 1995, Ben Sykes attended Bishop Lynch but did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study.
