Sofiya Thomas

Sofiya Thomas is a Clinical Dietitian-Trainee at Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre Angamaly since March 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Dietitian (observer) at Rajagiri Hospital Kochi from September 2023 to February 2024 and working as a Diabetes Educator at Jothydev's Diabetes Research Center and Hospitals in September 2023. Sofiya completed an internship at Bangalore Baptist Hospital in late 2022 and held a Research Intern position at UniBiosys Biotech Research Labs, focusing on novel product development, nutritional analysis, and food microbiology from May to July 2022. Academically, Sofiya holds a Postgraduate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from St. Joseph's College for Women, Alappuzha (2021-2023), and a degree in Family and Community Science from Mahatma Gandhi University (2018-2021), with early education in Homescience from St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School (2016-2018).
