From 2012 to 2019, John Martarano held several roles in various companies. John began their career at Sound Lion as the Director of Operations, where they oversaw the day-to-day activities of multiple locations, managed staffing and employee development, and implemented operational processes and sales strategies. John also contributed to the development of operation manuals, employee handbooks, and training guides.

In 2012, John joined Flip Flop Shops as the Global Franchise Training & Support Manager, where they trained and supported a franchise system across 8 countries. John developed and executed processes to drive compliance standards and increase profitability, and played a key role in sales and customer service training, employee development, and store openings.

Most recently, John worked at Little Kitchen Academy as the Vice President of Development. Little Kitchen Academy is a cooking academy that provides a safe and empowering environment for children to learn practical life skills and healthy eating habits.
