Jim Inoue

Chief Technology Officer at Little Otter

Jim Inoue has had a varied and successful career. Jim began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Amazon in 2011. Jim then held a similar role at Google in 2012. In 2011, they also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington's Computer Science Department and a Program Management Intern at Microsoft. In 2013, they joined Palantir Technologies as Group Engineering Manager - Modeling/ML/AI. Jim then became Group Engineering Manager - Foundry Objects (Operational Tools), where they were the founding engineer and grew the group from 5 engineers to 100 across several offices over a 4 year period. Jim then served as Technical Lead, working with a large manufacturing company in Europe and growing the project from 10 people to 80 people by the time they left. Jim was then hired by Palantir Technologies in Palo Alto and moved to Japan to serve as the first engineer and technical lead for a project there. In 2011, they joined Montlake Consulting Group as Manager. In 2022, they joined Little Otter as Chief Technology Officer.

Jim Inoue obtained a BS in Computer Science, a BA in Business Administration and Management, General, and a Minor in Technical Japanese from the University of Washington between 2008 and 2013.
