Abbas Najmi

Abbas Najmi has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Abbas started their career in 2015 with the Indore Development Authority (IDA) where they gained experience in construction and project management. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Rajmi Geoexploration & Engineering Private Limited as a Junior Geotechnical Engineer and later as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, where they were responsible for collecting and testing rock/soil samples and analyzing big data using statistical tools.

In 2022, Abbas joined Spectro-AG as a Geo AI Engineer, where they developed web applications using Django and Flask frameworks. Abbas then worked at 3D RealityMaps GmbH as a Software Developer, focusing on the development of web applications.

Currently, Abbas is working as a GIS Software Engineer at Little Place Labs, where they utilize their expertise in GIS and software engineering to develop software solutions.

Abbas Najmi has demonstrated proficiency in various technical skills and has contributed to both engineering and software development projects throughout their career.

Abbas Najmi started their education at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their high secondary education in the field of science from 2000 to 2010. Following that, they attended All Saint High Secondary School from 2010 to 2012 and obtained their High Secondary degree in the science field.

In 2012, Abbas enrolled at Acropolis Institutions and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Civil Engineering, which they successfully completed in 2016.

In 2019, Abbas further advanced their education by joining the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente. Abbas pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation, specializing in Urban Planning and Management. This program lasted from 2019 to 2021.

Abbas also holds additional certifications in Geospatial Technologies and Applications, which they obtained from ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization in February 2019.
