Gotam Dahiya

Gotam Dahiya has work experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Little Place Labs since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Kawa Space from October 2020 to September 2022. At Kawa Space, they developed a Scene Classification algorithm using the EuroSat dataset and achieved 97% accuracy on unseen data from Sentinel 2 L1C images in Asia. Gotam also worked on creating a Farm boundary classification on Sentinel 2 L2A imagery for Europe, cloud removal using Sentinel 1 and 2 images, and a library that combines multiple data ingestion pipelines and pre-and-post-processing steps. During their time at Kawa Space, they started as a Data Science Intern from October 2020 to February 2021.

Gotam Dahiya completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, from 2017 to 2021. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including "Data Collection and Processing with Python" from Coursera in September 2020, "Python(Basic)" from HackerRank in September 2020, "Deep Learning in Computer Vision" from Coursera in August 2020, "Introduction to Programming Using Python" from Microsoft in August 2020, and "Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow" from Coursera in July 2020.
