Michelle Luce has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michelle began their career in 1996 as a cashier/hostess at Jade East Restaurant. From 2000 to 2010, they worked at UPS as an Employee Resource Specialist. In 2002, they joined UML Center for Cellular Neurobiology & Neurodegeneration Research as a Research Associate, where they gained experience in tissue culture of nerve cells, plate preparation, transfections, image acquisition, and data presentation. Michelle then worked at Organon as a Research Associate from 2005 to 2006. In 2006 and 2007, they served as an Associate Recruiter at Kforce Scientific and Substitute Teacher at Opis Placement Pros, respectively. From 2007 to 2008, they rejoined UML Center for Cellular Neurobiology and Neurodegeneration as a Research Associate. In 2011, they became the Director of Donnelly's Darlings, a position they held until 2022. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Teacher I at Lowell Collaborative Preschool Academy. Michelle is currently employed as a Certified Support Teacher at Little Sprouts, LLC.

Michelle Luce began their education at Tewksbury High School where they obtained their high school diploma from 1994 to 1998. Michelle then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at UML from 1999 to 2003, majoring in biology with a pre-medical focus and a minor in clinical science. Michelle later attended Middlesex Community College from 2013 to 2017 to earn their Child Development Associate degree in the field of Child Development.
