Sian Jarvis, CB, FRCGP(H)

Sian Jarvis has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1999, they worked at the UK Department of Health, where they held various roles including Director of Communications and Director General of Communications. Sian led teams of communicators, advised Secretaries of State and ministers, and managed media operations, public health marketing, and crisis communications.

From 2012 to 2013, they served as the Director of Corporate Relations at Asda, a retail company. Subsequently, they established their own consultancy firm called Jarvis & Bo Communications Ltd, where they provided strategic counsel and advice to business leaders on corporate reputation, PR, government affairs, and regulatory affairs, specializing in health, retail, and consumer brands. Sian'sclients included well-known organizations such as NHS England, Coca-Cola, and Diageo.

In 2018, they joined NHS Improvement as the Executive Director of External Affairs, responsible for managing the organization's relationships with the health sector and overseeing internal and external communications, government affairs, and strategic reputation. Sian contributed to the broader organizational strategy and acted as an advisor to the CEO and other executives.

Sian later worked at Newton Europe as the Director of Change Communications and Engagement, where they focused on change leadership and worked with clients to develop transformation strategies. Sian was also involved in supporting NHS teams during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2020, they joined Huma as the Chief Marketing and Corporate Affairs Officer, leading the company's digital transformation campaign in healthcare and life sciences. Huma is a digital health company that supports clinicians and public health professionals globally in expanding clinical capacity and recovery from COVID-19.

In addition, they have held trustee roles at Diabetes UK and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Cygnet Health UK Limited.

Sian Jarvis's most recent role is as the Chief Marketing Officer at Liva Healthcare, a position they assumed in May 2023.

Sian Jarvis, CB, FRCGP(H) began their education journey at Loughborough University from 1981 to 1984, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Drama. Later on, in 2007, they enrolled at INSEAD for an IEP Executive Management program, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.
