Laura Geggel

Laura Geggel is a seasoned editor and journalist with extensive experience in science communication. Currently serving as an Editor at Live Science since July 2014, Laura manages the Life's Little Mysteries series, overseeing the creation and editing of engaging content. Previous roles include Associate Editor and Senior Writer at Live Science, as well as a news reporter for the Simons Foundation, where Laura focused on autism research. Earlier career highlights include internships at The New York Times, Popular Science, and Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
