Søren Frimann

Søren Frimann's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for functionally integrative neuroscience, Aarhus University. In this role, they performed administrative tasks and used MATLAB for programming and data processing. From 2010 to 2011, Søren worked as a Student Support Astronomer at the Nordic Optical Telescope.

In 2013, Søren became a PhD Student at the University of Copenhagen, where they focused on analyzing large numerical simulations of star-forming regions to understand how stars are formed and evolve. After completing their PhD, Søren worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, continuing their research on star formation and evolution.

In 2016, Søren joined the Universitat de Barcelona as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they analyzed data from large simulations of star-forming regions. Søren also developed Python tools for automated analysis of big data and contributed to outreach and knowledge dissemination.

From 2017 to 2020, Søren worked at Udviklings- og Forenklingsstyrelsen as a Data Scientist and later as a Specialkonsulent. In these roles, they utilized their data analysis skills.

Currently, Søren Frimann holds the role of Senior Data Scientist at LiveIntent, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they were a Data Scientist at the same company from September 2020 to August 2022.

Søren Frimann has a strong educational background in the field of astronomy and astrophysics. Søren obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, which they pursued from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Astronomy from Aarhus University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Before their master's, Søren obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Aarhus University, which they completed between 2006 and 2009.

Additionally, Søren Frimann holds a certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, which they obtained from Microsoft in July 2020. Søren also possesses the SAFe® 4 Certified Agilist certification, granted by Scaled Agile, Inc., although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
