Sean Dubois

Sean DuBois has a strong background in software development and technology. Sean has held various developer roles at Virtual Technologies Group, Systems Associates Inc, WebCheckout Inc, and Etsy from 2011 to 2016. Sean then joined Lightstream as a Developer from 2016 to 2018. Sean worked as a Developer at Amazon Web Services from 2018 to 2020, where they designed and implemented a Pure C WebRTC implementation. Sean then joined Apple as a Developer from 2020 to 2021. Sean also worked as a Developer at Twitch from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Field CTO at LiveKit starting from October 2023. Throughout their career, Sean has showcased expertise in WebRTC implementation and has contributed significantly to the development of Pion WebRTC.

Sean DuBois attended The Recurse Center in 2011 for a period of self-study, without earning a degree.
