Rachel Proefke

M&E Manager at Livelihood Impact Fund

Rachel Proefke currently serves as the MEL Manager for the Impact Lab at the Livelihood Impact Fund, a position held since March 2024, focusing on improving the lives of the global poor. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior MEL Advisor for USAID/Rwanda's Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting Activity at ME&A, Inc. from July 2023 to March 2024, and as Country Director at Laterite from June 2022 to July 2023. Rachel has held various roles at The QED Group, Restless Development in Uganda, and BRAC, ranging from Program Advisor to Acting Director of Programmes and External Engagement. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Development Economics and International Development from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Literature from the University of Washington.
