Jason Piskopus

Jason Piskopus is an experienced educator and writer with a background in linguistics and English language studies. Currently serving as a Professor of English as a Foreign Language at LiveXP since January 2023, Jason has also worked as a freelance writer and English tutor since 2001. Previous roles include Managing Editor at Los Angeleno, where editorial oversight was provided for opinion pieces and columns, and Editor-in-Chief for the Los Angeles Collegian Newspaper. Jason has taught English to diverse student populations through various platforms, including VIPKid and Preply, and has produced digital content as an Executive Producer for Collegian Wired. Academic achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Pittsburgh and two Associate of Arts degrees focused on English Language and Literature and Liberal Arts from Los Angeles City College.
