Sarah Bainton Kahn

Sarah Bainton Kahn has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Their most recent position is with Living Cities, where they serve as the Managing Director of Programs since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as the Executive Director of Consumer Strategy and Social Impact in the Commercial Bank from January 2022 to February 2023. From 2019 to 2021, Sarah was a Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Sarah also worked as a Policy Analyst at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2012 to 2019. Sarah has experience in program management, having served as a Program Manager at Goodwill Industries International from July 2011 to January 2012. Sarah worked in various roles at the National League of Cities from 2007 to 2011, including Senior Associate. Sarah also held internship positions at the Center for the Study of Social Policy and Frankford High School in 2006 and 2005 respectively. Early in their career, they started as a Legislative Correspondent at the Office of United States Senator Jack Reed from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer and Caseworker at the Spanish Catholic Center from 2001 to 2002.

Sarah Bainton Kahn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Spanish from Villanova University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the University of Pennsylvania and completed a Masters degree in Science in Social Policy and Social Work.
