Carlos Cortez, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Carlos currently holds the position of Vice President Finance & Controller at LL Flooring since 2023. Prior to this, Carlos was the Vice President & Controller (Principal Accounting Officer) at Cronos group from 2021 to 2023. Carlos also served as a Senior Finance Director - Global Business Services at Discovery Inc from 2019 to 2020. Carlos has a strong background in corporate accounting and control, having worked as the Corporate Controller at Malibu Boats from 2013 to 2019 and as the Manager of Financial Reporting/U.S. Controller at Dura-Line from 2009 to 2013. Carlos began their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG Audit from 2002 to 2008. Carlos has expertise in various areas including financial reporting, audit, tax, technical accounting, budgeting, process improvement, and more.

Carlos Cortez, CPA holds a BBA in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and a BBA in Finance from Florida International University. Carlos has also obtained additional certifications, including "Creating a Culture of Change" from LinkedIn in 2019 and the Certified Public Accountant designation from the State of Georgia.
