Gobi Chandrakumar

Gobi Chandrakumar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gobi is currently the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics at LloydsDirect since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager and the Supply Chain Lead at LloydsDirect from February 2022 to October 2022 and September 2021 to February 2022, respectively.

Before joining LloydsDirect, Gobi worked at AB World Foods Ltd as a Product Availability Manager from August 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for inventory optimization and product availability. Gobi also served as a Manufacturing Team Lead from September 2019 to August 2020, where they managed the production lines.

Gobi's experience in the field of supply chain and logistics extends further to their role at AB Sports Nutrition as a Category Manager from September 2018 to September 2019. Gobi collaborated with suppliers to establish and maintain essential business relationships.

Prior to their supply chain roles, Gobi worked at Harrods as a Customer Service Advisor from September 2017 to January 2018. Their responsibilities included managing customer inquiries and overseeing operational and logistical aspects of a seasonal event. Before that, they served as a sales assistant in various clothing and accessory departments from 2015 to 2017.

Gobi's earlier experience includes working as a Masters Student at Deb USA, a part of SC Johnson Professional, from September 2016 to June 2017. Gobi conducted research on the properties of surfactants for hand sanitizers. Additionally, they worked as a Student Fundraiser and later as a Student Supervisor at the University of Sheffield from February 2016 to May 2017. During this time, they managed a team of fundraisers for a telephone campaign aimed at raising funds for various university causes.

Gobi Chandrakumar obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield between the years 2013 and 2017. In addition, they hold a Level 3 Food Safety certification, which was obtained from Highfield in January 2020.
