Rajen Jatar

Rajen Jatar has extensive experience in financial reporting, control, and management. Rajen currently serves as the Head of Financial Reporting at Lloyd's since July 2021. Prior to this, they were the Head of Reporting & Financial Control at esure Group from October 2017 to March 2021, where they significantly enhanced the financial reporting processes and operational risk management. From December 2016 to September 2017, Rajen worked as the Head of Reporting (Interim) at Reliance Mutual Insurance Society Limited, where they led the implementation of Solvency II reporting and managed invested assets reconciliation. At Friends Provident International, they served as the Head of Reporting from December 2014 to November 2016, leading various reporting initiatives and change projects. Rajen also has experience as the Solvency II Pillar 3 Lead at esure Group and as the Director of Solvency II Pillar 3 at MetLife Europe Ltd. Rajen started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they worked as a Senior Manager and gained significant experience in audits, assurance, and transaction support.

Rajen Jatar obtained a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, attending from 1983 to 1988. Later, from 1988 to 1991, they became a Fellow Chartered Accountant after completing their studies at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Before their college years, Rajen attended Bombay Scottish School, although the specific duration and degree earned are not mentioned.
