Job Description

The Finance Associate supports GMED NA’s financial requirements, management and administration and performs multiple diverse accounting and financial tasks related to invoicing, budget control, cash management, capacity analysis, and reporting.

GMED NA’s Financial Team looks at overall financial performance and supports leadership in decision making.

Essential Functions

  • Performing the invoicing monthly closing, reinforcing accuracy and timeliness on the invoicing process, collection, and reconciliation

  • Processes the expense reports (internal and external) following the Travel Policies and procedures, and scheduling timely and accurate reimbursement

  • Provides support in handling A/P and A/R monitoring and reconciliation

  • Ensures Advance payment monitoring, billing, allocation and reconciliation

  • Assists in accounting transaction allocation, correction, by job ID and cost center

  • Fosters and demonstrates behaviors aligned with GMED NA’s values

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Who You Are

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent English (writing, typing and speaking) and good communicator

  • Excellent command of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PDF

  • 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Process oriented to deliver business success

  • Sensitivity to detail with excellence in accuracy will be critical to job performance success

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism

  • Must be flexible and able to work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments accurately and on time

Job-specific Competencies:

  • Working knowledge and ability to organize their work using tools like MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook (Email, Calendar, Tasks);

  • Strong project management skills allowing the follow-up of different multiple qualification projects;

  • Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills;

  • Self-starter who works will independently;

  • Great team player with experience in working with and for people, dependable and reliable;

  • Ability to perform tasks and interact with people while keeping the confidentiality of the information disclosed, maintaining a relationship of trust with the personnel during the qualification process.
