In this role, reporting to the Commercial Lead, you will be able to take pride in contributing directly to our organization’s growth and putting your own stamp on our Sales initiatives. Our Associate Account Manager will have proven experience and knowledge in B2B sales, ideally in the Industrial/Manufacturing and Enterprise Software verticals. You will: 

  

  • Be a core member of the Sales team
  • Work closely with the different functional leaders at LNS Research

  

Primary Responsibilities  

  

  • Develop high quality leads in defined verticals through prospect qualification and analysis

  • Build Account Qualification Plans to drive engagement with End User prospects

  • Leverage LNS’s research to build, nurture, and grow a strong following of key prospect personas on LinkedIn Support Cross Sell and Upsell to existing accounts

  • Support Account Managers and Industry Professionals by scheduling and coordinating meetings and expanding contact base within existing accounts

  • Follow sales processes, update, and maintain records in HubSpot CRM

  • Collect and record important prospect insights

  • Identify unspoken prospect needs and convert these insights into viable opportunities

  • Research target companies to identify key prospects

  • Consistently nurture prospective clients, event speakers, and event attendees with high quality customized content, in collaboration with LNS Industry Principals, to drive net new opportunities and reduce sales cycle times.

  • Discover and understand prospect’s business, needs, and issues

  • Understand and communicate LNS Research competitive advantages to resolve prospect needs and issues

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly qualified lead and new opportunity goals.

  • Collaborate with sales colleagues and other LNS functions Work with marketing and sales teams to track lead qualification process and metrics

  

Key Skills and Competencies  

  

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills– especially professional written and verbal skills.

  • Proven excellence in Social Selling activity and converting social leads to opportunities

  • Outstanding critical thinking and strategic planning skills.

  • Demonstrated resilience in the ability to execute plans efficiently, assess results, and modify execution tactics to enhance future results. Competitive drive and persistence, with  the ability to handle rejection and move forward

  • Proven multi-channel prospecting skills including direct outreach, LinkedIn networking, social selling, referrals, and nurturing existing contacts.

  • Confident phone presence and experience dialing 30 - 50 calls per day

  • Ability to work in a remote, fast paced, self-directed, and collaborative team environment

  • Advanced user of MS 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Word, as well as web-based conferencing systems and related apps.

  • Experience utilizing CRM and tools for gathering, managing, and sharing information, , tracking metrics, and organizing prospect communications and meetings

  • Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, and a commitment to growth in a sales career

  

Education and Experience  

  

  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a new business development role
  • Strong LinkedIn presence, LinkedIn Certification preferred
  • Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing and Enterprise Software space highly preferred
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close

This is a virtual role. Candidates must be in the USA only. Minimal travel, as business needs require. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
