Senior QA Automation Engineer at Light & Wonder

Georgios Papatheodorou has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Georgios started their career as a Physics Professor at triptyxo from September 2004 to October 2007. Following that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Intrasoft International from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they gained extensive experience in quality assurance.

In 2012, Georgios moved to a role as a Software Engineer-Analyst at Intrasoft International until July 2013. Georgios then joined ipsyp as a Software Engineer-Analyst from April 2013 to April 2014.

Georgios further expanded their skillset by working as a Stress Test Engineer at Globo PLC from 2014 to 2016. In this role, they focused on performing stress tests and generating reports.

In 2016, Georgios joined MOTIVIAN S.A. as a Quality Assurance Engineer for a brief period.

From 2016 onwards, Georgios has been associated with SG Digital (Division of Scientific Games Corporation). Initially, they worked as a QA Automation Engineer, creating automation scripts and utilizing various tools like Git, Jenkins, and Ruby. Georgios was later promoted to the role of Senior QA Automation Engineer, where they continued to excel in automation scripting.

Throughout their career, Georgios has showcased their expertise in quality assurance, software engineering, and automation scripting.

Georgios Papatheodorou holds a Master's degree in Information and Telecommunications from Athens Information Technology, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Micro Electronics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, during the period of 2005 to 2007. Georgios also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), which they earned from 1997 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certificate in ISTQB from the UK Testing Board in June 2017.
